Our inspirational young people were an absolute credit to themselves and Great Academy Ashton in the ‘Princes Trust Regional Enterprise Final’. Our students more than held their own with such a strong pitch.
We finished 3rd overall out of 6 teams, which is a huge achievement considering today was the finals between Greater Manchester and Yorkshire (…we finished highest out of Greater Manchester!)
In context, over 40 schools took part in the initial challenge, spanning over 200 groups of young people, to come 3rd is such an achievement. All students had a truly brilliant day. In addition to this, the students met Rebecca Beattie, a young entrepreneur supported by Princes Trust, who also has a ‘Pride of Britain’ award.
