It’s that time of year once again where we take the opportunity to give something back to our community and spread some Christmas cheer.
The Active Christmas takeaway is an initiative set up to give something back to the community.
Over a three-night period, Active Tameside are providing people with the opportunity to register for a free takeaway meal for themselves and their family.
A set menu of Chicken Curry and Rice, Mince and Vegetable Pie, Vegetarian Pasta and a Vegan option will be available to pre-order over the following dates:
Monday 19th December 2022
Tuesday 20th December 2022
Wednesday 21st December 2022

If you would like an application form to apply for the takeaways or know somebody who would benefit from the service within Tameside, please see attached the booking form. It’s a great opportunity for families in Tameside to be able to access a free, home cooked healthy meal.
Volunteering Opportunity
We are looking for volunteers to help with packing and sorting, driving, escorting, and delivering across the dates listed above.
If you are interested in volunteering, please email Caitlan.wilson@activetameside.com before 15th December to register your interest – please state on the email when you would be available and a contact number.
