Ofsted Inspection of our School
We have just been told that we are to have an Ofsted Inspection starting tomorrow (Tuesday 11th March and Wednesday 12th March). The Inspectors will be on site looking at all areas of our school and supporting us in celebrating what we do best and also verifying the areas that we are continually focussing on to improve.
I would encourage you to play your part in the whole process by completing a Parental Questionnaire on the Ofsted Parent View website which can be linked from here:
http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/
We are immensely proud of our students and our school and look forward to working with the inspectors in ensuring we celebrate our successes and develop further our key areas for improvement.
If you wish to speak with the Inspection Team while they are at school please feel free to ring school reception on 0161 241 9555 or e-mail admin@gaa.org.uk and a member of the inspection team will be able to return your call.

VOLUNTARY FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO GREAT ACADEMY ASHTON

Our School Fund Scheme for voluntary financial contribution has been an important source of funds for many years. I hope you will consider supporting your child’s school in this way.  Please contact our Finance Team if you require further information about how your contribution can support us via the email address admin@gaa.org.uk

Your contribution does not necessarily have to be through direct funds, we would welcome support with physical resources such as new books for our library, office equipment, sponsorship of our sporting teams, donation of music equipment or lighting and stage equipment, or even the donation of team kits.  If you have an idea that you would like to discuss please e-mail me directly on david.waugh@gaa.org.uk

I do hope you are able to give the school your financial support and enhance the service we provide to all our students. We are extremely grateful for any donations made and I promise you that the money will be put to good use.

Thank you in advance for your generous support.
